About me
I am a Quality Engineer with a solid foundation in Interactive Design, graduated in 2020 from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá. My professional journey blends creative vision with technical precision, allowing me to deliver high-quality, scalable, and engaging gameplay experiences.
I started my career as a Mid-Level Game Developer, gaining several years of hands-on experience with Unity and Unreal Engine. During this stage, I specialized in designing and implementing gameplay mechanics, integrating art assets, and collaborating closely with design and art teams to translate creative concepts into polished, playable experiences. I also took on leadership responsibilities, coordinating team efforts and ensuring successful project deliveries.
Over the past year, I transitioned into a Junior Software Tester role, specializing in Quality Assurance (QA). In this position, I was responsible for designing comprehensive test cases, executing both manual and automated tests, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and stability of game features. I also developed a suite of custom internal tools for the QA team, streamlining daily workflows, automating repetitive tasks, and significantly boosting the efficiency of testing processes.
Today, as a Quality Engineer, I combine my expertise in game development and QA to build polished, scalable gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5. My focus is on maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the entire development cycle, bridging the gap between creative design and technical implementation, and continuously refining testing strategies and tools to drive team success. I am passionate about problem-solving, process optimization, and contributing to the creation of memorable interactive experiences.
